Facebook Data Engineering London Compensation
Hi, I am waiting for a data engineering offer from facebook London. I have finished all the interviews and As per the recruiter, it is "positive" so far. I have 7 years of experience and currently working in EY London. Can anyone tell me what is the average compensation for my profile? so that I can negotiate for a better offer. Thank you in advance. Any kind of info is much appreciated.
Curious about this too. Last I heard FB London paid quite poorly compared to other big startups and hedge funds in London.
Companies like Palantir and DeepMind pay significantly higher for grad level at FB London. And it doesn’t differ a lot from Microsoft/Amazon/Google. London pay is tree fiddy.
AFAIK Data Eng @ FB is like 80-90% of SWE comp so these numbers might be a bit off but here's what I have gathered. Not sure what your level is but going to assume FB E5/E6: (E5) Base: £90k Stock $250-300k Bonus: 15% (E6) Base: £110k Stock: $350k-$500k Bonus: 15/20% (not 100% sure) The base salary numbers should be relatively accurate although I'm going off what I know about US equity grants to get the stock numbers. London grants are lower than US grants, but having competing offers, good interview performance, etc should help tip the grants higher when you counteroffer.
I had my on-site interview. In one of the rounds I wasn't able to clear the solution on SQL and Coding while in the others, I have likely answered them all. What are my chances?
