I'm curious about the hiring process for non-swe/sde. I've read in these forums. There is a coding bootcamp. Is this the same for non-swe? I've also heard you pick your team/project after bootcamp. I'm in the middle of the interview process for what I believe to be a very specific role. Is it possible I could end up on a different team/project?
Product managers and data scientists also go through Bootcamp (shorter than engineering) and many (most?) come in unallocated (unlike you, they interview as generalists). If you get an offer for a specific team, you shouldn't end up somewhere else.
Thank you
There are things like design camp and data camp and ads camp, but they are not as extensive. I think non eng are all preallocated and you don't get to pick a team.
Thank you
