I heard FB wants you to link your personal FB account to work stuff. Seems weird to me - if you create a dummy account does anyone care?
Eff that brah. Never mix personal accounts with work. Could lead to unwanted attention and issues
Sounds fucked up..don’t link it and don’t bother
Facebook is so tryhard, Jesus
There is a product called workplace--which is like facebook for workplace. While workplace and personal facebook are completely separate, they need to have people use a personal account to do some pre-onboarding stuff. I guess creating a dummy account works too if you want.
Dummy account is fine. BUT Facebook still can monitor your communication with coworkers via your personal no dummy account. Also using your real account gives you access to tons of features.
I was weired out by this too. Go ahead and create a dummy account, but there's no need. Internal workplace account is separate from personal account. Coworkers don't see your personal posts unless they friend your personal account for some reason. Using a real account is slightly more convenient because you can test beta features on your real account.
Why is there a need to mix personal with professional account ? Sounds not at all right.
Rightttt?
