Facebook Systems @ Scale event Invite - interview opportunity?
I have received an event invite for technical conference ( i m sure many others are invited too) - Systems at scale event on 19 july at FB HQ. Question is - is there any chances for hiring/getting into interview loop if I happen to network with managers/directors during the networking hour? I have already given a try and was rejected on 5th March, so as per recruiter i can only be considered next year March. Sorry for repetition- i saw a similar post sometime back here but cannot find it now. @Facebook Tc - 175 3.5 yoe
I think they organize these kind of guest list invites pretty often. I have gone to 3-4 ML ones and spoke to various managers , awesome food and also some of the poster presentations with the teams . After the event the recruiters generally do follow up about interest and roles . So good to get the interview calls.
Not sure about the cooling period gets applied
