Facebook e4 max comp

I have around 5-6 YoE(graduated in 2014, but have been working since 2013). Recruiter just contacted me and she said my interviewers got positive feedback. Now it will go to director of engineering to decide whether they want to extend out an offer and what level. One thing that come out from this is, they're not too sure what level i would be. I feel like they're going to E4 me. Right now i have a competing offer from another company based in NJ. I believe if they would want to match they need to offer me at least 280k TC. However, FB compensates heavily on their volatile stock. So i want more than that. I interviewed for FB HQ. What's the maximum i can ask for?

Hey mind sharing your interview experience? LC medium/hard and tagged questions?

What thread? Can you link. I tried search and can’t find

They will give you the default offer, which will be around $250k. You’ll need real competing offers higher than that.

I would outright reject 250k TC for the bay area.

I screwed up. They are offering me 225k and they are saying they won’t go beyond it. Worst of all, they sort of know that my current pay is the range of 190-205k. How can I get out of this with a better tc? Is competing offers the only way to go? I know I’m underpaid in my current job and they are kind of taking advantage of it. YOE is about 5.5 years

I got a so-called max E4 offer: 167k base, 360k stock, 10% bonus and 75k sign on. Trying to get 100k sign on but the recruiter told me it’s not a thing anymore for E4.

I see, so that's 185k cash +90k stock = 275k TC. Did you have any competing offers?

What’s your level at Dropbox, @xbedt110?

Max salary + bonus is ~220k, plus RSUs but you’ll need some good offers to counter FB
