I just got a Facebook offer E4. Marketing manager. Is Facebook willing to negotiate with me? Current offer: $125k, $52500 equity. The rsu seems a bit lower than I researched. Thanks!
Man marketing jobs get paid so much less than engineering jobs
Profound
How many years of experience? Base is so low
5 years
You should try negotiating I think 125k for 5 yoe marketing manager is a bit low unless you’re not in pmm or demand gen then it might make sense
You mean IC4? Which org? PMM?
SMB marketing, marketing ops. I don't know the exact naming of the.role.
Makes sense for smb marketing or marketing ops or marketing communications or general marketing. Does not make sense on PMM - it would be much higher there.
Agree here. You should always negotiate but the pay makes sense for smb marketing. (Just joined fb as a pmm)
Congrats! How long did it take you to get the offer after on-site interview?
1 week
What’s the final offer you got?
Could you please help me with the process of Onsite interview? I have one in a similar role for their Partner Program Manager in GMS ad-tech. I was inserting what to expect, what to focus on, what kind of questions should I be ready for. Any help is highly appreciated!
52.5k equity per year? Or over 4 years
vest over 4 years. I am thinking of asking for more
Seems seriously low from eng perspective. Negotiate either way
