Not necessarily. If the stock pops back up in the next month, they’ll likely take an aggregate to benchmark your stock award which would result in the same amount of shares. Facebook has likely modeled their compensation packages to defend against severe drops and hikes.

No, Facebook now computes the number of stock at vesting time to match the $$$ of the contract. So the price of the stock has no impact. But feel free to buy FB stock with your money
