How should I prepare for security engineer interview at Facebook? Is there anything that I can expect leetcode questions? If my background is more focused on architecture and design based with Info security governance. Please suggest me.
Are you currently in a security role at Intuit?
Answer every question with “Sounds good to me Mr Zuckerberg” and you’ll be their next CISO.
Make sure you know top 10 owasp and ssl. Leet code is good
Depends in which team, Prod sec vs Corp sec, etc. In general, know SSL / TLS, PKI, practical encryption, OWASP Top 10, strong Linux skills (including bash pipelines for text processing), strong scripting skills (e.g. Python), secure architecture. If a prod sec position add code auditing and some real SWE experience. If Corp sec add MDM, DLP, EDR, and infrastructure experience.
FYI: Turned down an offer a couple of years ago for a Corp sec position @facebook. Not regretting that now. I’m guessing none of the FB security teams are having a good time lately.
Thanks for info. Can you share me the reason or little more insights. Btw can you share your yoe and TC they offered?
Any update on this OP
Just steal some user data, print it and throw it on the desk. Given all their issues, security can't be that strict.
