Facebook vs google interview difficulty
Hi Is facebooks interview just as tough as google ? I failed google SWE interview lol ( had 4 good one bad , one average interviews ), wondering if I need to prep harder for Fb ? Any tips for FB specific interview are really appreciated Thanks ! Tc -200k Yoe 10 Loc - Boston

googlers usually only ask one question, but a bit harder one. so, if you can solve it well it looks better on you, and if you cannot solve it perfectly or optimally it is not a disaster. facebook on the other hand, asks 2 easier question, and you *have to* solve them almost perfectly and fast (because they are easy). i personally find google interview easier, because there is an upside there: you can distinguish yourself by writing non trivial solution. facebook interview has no upside. it is a dumb easy problem. you just meet the minimum bar if you solve it perfectly and it is a havoc if you miss something.
fb interview is 2 problems completed fast. google interview is one problem with multiple parts with the expectation of going very far or completion depending on how hard it is. Was at google at fb now
I did both the interviews recently. Google interview was harder but I had time to think and build up towards the solution. These questions could not be found in leetcode (in my case at least). Facebook asked me two questions per round. They were leetcode medium or parts of leetcode hard. I had to think quick during fb interviews unlike Google.
Fb needs more speed but is relatively easier and bar is slightly lower.
I heard FB is very simple.
