I have been rejected by facebook thrice in 3 years. Each time the rejection came in a few hours of uploading resume to facebook career site. Is there something like blacklist? How can I make my way in?
There are other companies bro. Move on!
Seems like the comment poster couldn't get into FB too 😂
I know misery loves company, but sorry to disappoint. I never tried.
Did u graduate from a Target school ?
Well not from them but a state university. Fb hired a couple people from my batch already.
New grads?
New MS grads
I graduated from Columbia CS, I have been rejected 5 times. Each time I applied via a referral. I have talked with different recruiters 2 times on phone. From what I can sense, they hire either new grad or someone with at least 3-5 years experience. There is no btw.
What’s your YOE?
1 yoe at a no name startup
FB are not hiring for fulltime new grad now as far as I know
I'm an experienced now. Was a fresh grad when I started applying 😂
Fb has the worst recruiters I have encountered so far.
One of my friend joined FB because he found google's recruiters horrible
Why are you so obsessed with FB?
Why would anyone want to join FB? I would recommend using your talent and skills for something more useful for society.
What do you mean? Can't you do something useful for society while staying at FB?
The only thing FB cares about is keeping or increasing user engagement in its platform. What are the side effects in reality? Depression for most of the users. It looks like they are harming the society more than helping it. You could make a case for FB being a positive actor 10 years ago but that is all gone.
Try getting into a company that would serve as a good stepping stone. I don’t know about your credentials but, no offense, if you were working for a more attractive company then they might consider you?
Get a referral instead
I should have mentioned, two out of those three times. I was sent a link by facebook to apply online after referral. Which resulted in rejection.
