I'm a late 20s guy and hate going into the mall, but need some new clothes pretty badly. I hate shirts with huge words on them (e.g., TOMMY HILLFIGURE, RALF LAWREN etc..). I just want basic stuff that's respectable looking, decent quality, and not overpriced. I think Uniqlo fits the bill and possibly LL Bean too (is this for older folks?). How about Amazon Basic clothing? I don't mind shopping online either.. In the SF Bay Area, which should have a ton of selection but I guess I'm just picky as heck. This is terribly hard to buy clothes now..I remember hitting up the mall with my friends and just throwing a hundred bucks to [POPULAR PLACE] every few months, but it's not so easy for me now. I'm even considering going to Nordstrom and just paying what they want to meet with a "fashion consultant" and buy whatever they sell me.
I like Calvin Klein shirts. I usually buy my clothes at the Macy's store in valley Fair Mall.
If you are young and single, going to a fashion consultant and a hair stylist could really help your social life.

$45 for a t shirt? Too rich for my blood..
Check out Outlier. Simple style with high quality materials that are extremely durable. Iām still wearing my outlier pants 3 years later and they still look new.
Lulu
Try JCrew, they r the best and decently priced. Express and Banana Republican are good as well. I usually buy most of my cloths online
H&M
J Crew and Banana Republic for shirts, Levi's for jeans, Red Wing (Iron Ranger) for boots.
American Giant
Seriously if you want well-made, largely unbranded stuff: American Giant.
J Crew is my go to.

This. Simple, good quality, not outrageously priced.
