170k base/ 10k sign-on, 400k RSUs/ 150k/yr refresher. Is it good? 10 yoe. Phd.
They pay 150k PER year as refreshers? I thought refreshers were like 15% of the base salary
Who told you about 150? There are a bunch of threads on Blind which people mention numbers closer to 120-130
+1. Recruiter told me was meets for performance is refresher of 120k. I think 150k is wrong.
Ah. I think realized why. I believe your recruiter tries to sell you the exceed expectations as the target. EE gets a multiply of 1.25 so it would be close to 150. EE is not the target or the average though.

People at Fb know better but afaik this number is incorrect.

I think that is what they offer an a standard for e5 to start. That is really close to what I got. You can ask for more RSUs. I had 400k initially, I asked for 500k, and they updated to 450k. So try that.

Yes. I said I would accept right away at 500k. Then went on about how amazing fb is and how I really want to work there etc. Recruiter said she would check with comp team and they came back with 450k.
