Seems like a no brainer to invest. They know customers aren’t going to invest all eggs in one basket. So great way to retain and attract new customers. The cake pie 🥧 doesn’t grow much for these trading companies so it’s about snatching business from each other.

Seems like we are the ultimate winners here

the ER on schwab/vanguard/fidelity are all negligible, free or not. wondering more on the quality of these internally.

      False.
0.1% ER over 30 years eats up a bit more than 3% of your total. That’s at least one full year of retirement income.

but what’s the performance of each IF/ETF? you can argue that if they are tracking the same basket of stocks, theoretically they should perform the same. but trace apples to apples over 30 years, and the outcome will be different. each service has a different passive investment strategy for their offerings.
