Find a job in the Bay from Europe

I'm a front end developer with 2 years of experience. What is the best place to find a job with visa sponsorship in a bay if I'm from Europe? What kind of compensation I can expect? I'm very keen to relocate.

There is plenty of info here regarding visas. Have a look in the workvisa section on Blind. Generally I guess you have 3 options: 1. H1B - seems unlikely as Indian consulting abuse has ruined it for everyone else who is actually qualified 2. J-1 - technically a trainee/internship visa and good for 18 months max. But a good option if you want your foot in the door. I did this one. Was well paid. 3. O-1 - visa for ppl with special achievements in their field and international acclaim. Like patents, articles written about them and awards. I am in the process for that one right now. I’d say, unless you find somebody to give you a shot with the O-1, look into the J-1.

Change your location to San Francisco and watch the recruiters roll in. Let them know the situation after they reach out to you Countless companies in the bay willing to sponsor a dev.

Salary wise, what can I expect as a TC?

Too many factors to consider here. Start up, FAANG etc. Check the compensation boards here and find your match to get an idea. To be frank, if you want to get to the Bay Area, TC will be your smallest concern. Try to get a sponsor and a visa first. TC will surely be a step up from your euro TC (unless you are in Switzerland or Norway).
