GMail - Another Big Time UI redesign failure
Guys if Gmail prompts you to try their new UI out, please say no. God the new UI is terrible and totally unusable. If you thought that reddit failed at redesigning their UI then wait till you see this. Thankfully it was easy to roll back the changes. It seems to me that he only company in the world who knows how to write a front end is Apple. Google sucks big time at front end (although they are gods of writing scalable services). Do you like the new GMail UI?
It’s safe to opt in and then opt out. It was very slow on my mbp so went back to old ui.

Seems nice. Typeface might be slightly better and the notification of number of unread emails should load at the same time as content (has a little lag) but besides that seems good
