Getting out of the agency life

I've been working in the agency world for 11 years doing a mix of digital strategy and product management work, and I don't find it fulfilling. I'm looking to go client side in a product manager role, hopefully one that is more strategic than tactical. I'd love tips from people who have made similar moves having never worked client side before.
