Hello, GS : salary: 130k + 20k TC: 150k Yoe: 2 years Profile: Software Developer Team: PWM- Private Wealth Management I am expecting interviews from Two Sigma, Amazon, etc Current TC: 120k Should I accept this offer or reject it and wait for better offers to convert? Currently I have an amazing WLB. But low on salary:(

Bro is it that bad at GS? One thing I am certain that GS shall look better on my resume than current company. But WLB here is amazing and I have heard a lot about WLB being bad at GS.
Yeah if you have no other offers, then it’s fine but the culture is really lacking

If you’re in nyc that 30k difference pretax won’t make a real difference in your QoL unless you’re already living paycheck to paycheck somehow. Unless it’s an exploding offer I’d wait it out. Where do you work now that you got a Two Sigma interview? I went onsite with Jane Street and HRT, Two Sigma still wouldn’t phone screen my ass lol
Amazon and Two Sigma should absolutely be able to trash that Goldman offer TC
I am yet to appear for onsite. I am buying preparation time for system design as I am new to it.

You may not have as good of a WLB anymore. If working for x more hours for 30k increase makes sense then take it.
If I were you, I won't take this if I were you with just 30k bump, rather I would give a shot at other companies This is just my opinion but you should be able to decide based on any other personal factors
Amazon/Two Sigma is better for your resume. GS tech culture I feel is not the same as tech companies.
