I always see ppl complaining about the bad reputation that managers that come from Amazon get, but to be honest I find great to work with them, at least as a business partner. I wonder how it would look like to work FOR them? Maybe they are a completely different monster when you report to them?

- Intel :-) :-)Managers who want all the glory and credit when things go well will go out of their way to give employees tasks without acknowledgement. If a manager is out for themselves, they can seem like a delight to work with outside of the team they manage. It's how some (bad) managers play the game.

Also being a good business partner doesn’t say anything about your management capabilities.
