Base: $61k Stock: $38k Bonus: 30% of base Signing Bonus: $7k thoughts? anyone work with associate account strategists with similar packages? edit: this is a new grad sales position for those unfamiliar with the role
That's 1994 money
The question you should be figuring out is which city you can afford to live in?
Are you in an engineering position?
OP is a new grad in SALES.
I probably shoulda specified in the post but thanks for clarifying to everyone!
Yeah everyone kinda assumes you’re in engineering unless you state otherwise. Good comp IMO.
Pretty good for a new grad sales position
What year was this offer made?
Base too low. 7 years ago I started in non Eng role with 62k base. I would think it should be a tad higher now. Ask for a few thousand more.
Fucking terrible. Come over to MS and we can assuredly pay you at least double base - especially in sales
You're saying MS pays more than 160k TC for new grad in sales?
Either way, 120k base for new grad sales associate...maybe I gotta make a switch lol.
It's an hourly position so you can put in OT and make a lot more money
Yeah the recruiter actually said the exact same thing. I was trying to push for $65k base but he said $61k was the absolute max but I could make more through OT and exceeding my target goals
$61k base seems low. Location?
Mountain View. It’s basically a new grad position so i wasn’t expecting anything crazy
