Google Eng residency vs Amazon aws/Microsoft azure full time new grad
Friend is debating whether to take full time sde Microsoft azure/amazon aws/google eng residency. Thoughts ? Microsoft has highest TC in Seattle but maybe worst brand name. Google lower TC by almost 100k but better brand ?
Assuming we have a bad brand name, are you planning on trying to work on improving it if you come here or is it just about tc? If it's just tc, gtfo - we dont need more jackasses like you.

Eng residency is L2? Also when you convert to full time you always get the lowest offer?
It's L3. And you get the standard L3 offer

Lots of my new grad friends join msft because of the outstanding new grad offer. Why brand bothers you? All three jobs will open you opportunities to interview with any tech company on the planet when you want to move in the future

I am curious, considering he got these offers, why didn't he just apply for the new grad role @ Google instead of the eng residency?
He failed it , residency reached out since he applied to that too

Amazon's new grad offer for me was better than msft. Amzn (AWS, Seattle): 112k base, 36k signon 1st, 36k signon 2nd, 120k stocks. Msft (Azure data, Redmond): 110k base, 25k signon 1st, 25k signon 2nd, 120k stocks. But I'm still confused. I already posted on blind. What do you suggest?
