Just had a call with a recruiter for EIP team, Security Engineer, Pre-Fail Blue Team. Went well, and I was asked to set up a phone Interview with an Engineer. I'm more of an AppSec guy (security generalist), so does anyone know about the scope of software security in EIP (I was told that the team works on all layers, Network, App and Firmware). Also, what should I expect in the phone interview and the on-site, if at all. TC: ~135k
Hey how did your interview go?
EIP, specifically the ACI portion of that team is a fucking shit show. Favoritism is common and blatant. The projects they have prevue over are lame and stagnant. Try to get into ISE if you are an AppSec guy, you will hate life in EIP.
Aci = access control?
I did ISE instead of EIP, but from speaking with some EIP folks, I got questions like common network attacks, how to harden against different vulns, and a system design of how to design and defend against a botnet-like piece of malware.
Was there any coding and what kind of questions?
I had some coding questions seperately, mainly LC mediums.
