Google Interview / Hiring Process

I have an on site next week for customer engineer. I was told that there will be theee interviews - role related knowledge, cognitive assessment, and googleyness. What is the process / order after that? It’s not clear to me whether hiring committee extends offer, recruiter, or hiring manager. Who would I negotiate the offer with? Who determines leveling? Is that negotiable if I’m low-leveled? From reading blind it seems some receive an offer before knowing what their role is going to be and who they are going to work with. Why would anyone accept an offer without knowing team, manager, accounts, etc.?

The three should be back to back. You do not get to determine order. If they are not in the same day the recruiter should tell you. You are interviewing for a predefined level. If you do awesome they may bring you back for further interviews for an uplevel if you ask and HC suggests the same (rare) . If you pass you'll get the level they interviewed for. If you are borderline they will downlevel you. Hiring committee will determine all of this and will take into account interviewer feedback. Once they clear you it'll go to offer committee. You will negotiate with them through your recruiter. Leveling is at the discretion of the HC. Generally not negotiable except as per the above. These days team matching will occur prior to your packet being sent to hiring committee.
