Posting for a friend. Returning intern, Seattle. 110K base, 90K stocks, no sign on. Classic low-ball? 2 years work experience.
For MTV is definitely low. Can’t say about Seattle. Seems decent. But yes Google equity offers have been declining the last two years, likely caused at least in part by the deflation of unicorn valuations. Just get a better competing offer. They don’t really low ball — they will always match or beat reasonable offers.
Stock seems pretty low. I wouldn't worry about the sign on, you could probably pull 25k but I'd fight for 2x stock.
Low ball? For a first job? Wow..!!!
I would shoot for 110k equity and 115k base for Seattle area (based on other new grad offers I've been hearing)
2 years experience but was working as an intern? Wat?
Canadian schools have great coop programs
2 years work experience before joining Grad School.
fb return interns got 115k, 160k, 100k even in Seattle.
This thread not about FB return interns.
160k base ? Which team?
If this is eng, it's lower than a low ball for someone with grad degree, two years work experience, and returning intern.
Wow! This looks lower than MSFT offer. 😳
I’m making more with 1 year of exp at a non-top company (no grad degree either)..def lowball

Evaluate Amazon and ServiceNow offer
That's higher than I would have expected tbh. You can play hard ball and get a sign on at least, but must be willing to walk away
