Google L5 TPM vs Microsoft L65 EM
Google was able to beat the Msft offer by 25K in the first year and the years after that the numbers are pretty much the same for both companies. How much additional equity do L5 TPMs get per year in addition to bonus. What is the career path of TPMs in google or long term career growth for TPMs? Also I feel under level is L5 equivalent to L65 at Msft? Please help me choose

Google bands are bigger. L5 covers all Microsoft Sr. and the first Principal bands. Getting promoted from 5 to 6 is apparently really hard for some people. It depends entirely on how lucky you are about being on a team with division wide or multi-division impacting projects.
