As I understand there are going to be 6 interviews in the day for L6 at Google. 2 Coding 2 Design 2 Behavioral Are any of these more important than the others for L6 Staff ? I am guessing Design interviews would be the most important, and Coding/Behavioral might have slightly more scope for messing up and still getting away with it. Any thoughts ?
And also, is the above schedule for interviews used for Engineering Manager role too ?
Yup, EM loop has the same competencies. Don’t know about Staff SWE; haven’t done that one.
And in your case, did the recruiter cite or hint that some of the rounds are probably more important than the others ?
