I applied for a BSA role online and a phone interview was scheduled in a week. Interviewer was not responsive and always one word reply so my intense prep in a short period and mock interviews were in vain. Recruiter responded in a few days, "unfortunately we won't be moving forward to next steps, we have a few stronger candidates in process right now. I will keep an eye out for other roles where you might be a fit and feel free to keep applying to roles online. I wish you the best of luck!" What does this really mean? No cooling period? Can I continue to apply for suitable positions @ Google or take a break, prepare well and start applying or you'll never be considered ? I thanked the recruiter and asked for areas that need improvement but no response.
Same thing happened to me at amazon- the recruiter said he would look for some different roles for me and get back to me- I thought, yeah right! Couple days later he sends me 6 new roles and now I’ve been at amazon for almost a year!
Great! Encouraging, thx for sharing
Companies never give interview feedback. They don't want to give you any info that you could use to sue them.
True, i dont want the feedback but want to sense the level of feedback, okish or bad or worst from recruiters email context
Bad day, move on. Cooling period would be there though, 6months to an year
Thx. Not sure if I'd be considered thou...
