Google Seattle new grad offer evaluation
Hello, what do you folk think? BS new grad from west coast university. Opted for Seattle but seems like they pay less than MTV, not sure if that was a mistake. Base: 108k Target bonus: 15% Signing: 80k RSUs: 165k/4 year Have competing offers from salesforce, fb, airbnb. Waiting to hear back from amzn. fb gives a whole extra week of vacation - will Google negotiate on this? Would be nice to have a ouple of extra days.

Thats not standard for google. It beats FB new grad offer. The RSUs and the sign on are very high. But OP should take Airbnb or FB to learn more early in the career
You can always take a week more vacation if you are doing your job well and most managers at Google don't care whether you take 3 weeks off or 4 weeks off. I am surprised that you factor that into this decision making process
How does that work exactly? Is there no portal for vacation tracking?
They do have a portal to manage time off from work. I have had two managers and both of them were fine with me taking a week more off when I had to take a month off even though I had only three weeks of vacation left
