30 days to Google and Facebook interview for Software Engineer ( Beginner-Intermediate ). Along with Leet Code what should I do ? #Google #Facebook #Interviews
Avoid being a hermit for 30 days, go out and talk to people often to maintain people skills. Eat well and sleep well.
What is beginner-intermediate? Are you sure you are not mixing things up?
Behavioral is often the hardest... make sure you prepare it well.
What are the key points I should include in answering to behavioral ?
Not sure what kind of questions they ask in Google BQ. But.. 1. Why Google? Why leaving your current job? 2. What is the most challenging project? How did you complete your project? 3. How do you overcome conflicts with your colleagues? 4. Where do you see yourself doing at Google? 5. Do you have questions for me?
The most important thing is probably to take care of yourself. It's far too easy to overwork yourself or neglect your health and fall ill a week before the interview.
My perspective/experience was different than the usual leetcode grind for life suggestions that is popular here. There is value in LC, but there is diminishing returns past 30-50 questions (depending on your current skills). At G for example there is near zero chance of getting a LC question. Just reading my algorithm/ds textbooks was sufficient and infinitely more fun. Interviewers and committes are looking for approach and thought process much more than here's my O(1) solution in an instant (cause I memorized 300 LC problems) Disclaimer maybe this only applies at L3.
