Google: auto rejected even with a referral?
does this mean im on that black list? with a referral i am rejected again. no clue why. it was a for a entry level sales engineering position too edit1: can someone check if im on the blacklist? im so confused
Referral just means some human will look at your resume. Doesn't mean they'll give you a phone screen.
It’s reduced to that because of abuse. Referrals used to carry a lot of weight.
I think they still do if someone significant gives a referral

No, but my contact who referred me said people got in without previous experience
Sure, there are other factors such as how they thought the previous experience was related and how many spots they need to fill. Point being a referral is not a sureshot interview opportunity.
