Do google employees have any company policy that they shouldn’t respond to the people they add in LinkedIn asking for right people to direct for the positions they have applied for ? What is the probability that an employee from Google can help a stranger to atleast direct them to right team to help achieve their goal of being part of the company ?
Google doesn't have team specific hiring for eng, it's all decoupled. Reaching out to a team doesn't really make sense. Referral may help you land an interview, but if it's from a random contact on LinkedIn, doubt it will do much.
Ya interview is what lot of people like me are looking for. From that point it depends on the candidate how they get prepared and perform in the interview. Landing into a phone call from recruiter has become the toughest part
There's nothing a Googler can do in this case to help you, the choices are A. give you a referral or B. ignore you
