Google interview timeline

I had an on-site interview with google a few weeks ago. How long does it typically take to get an offer from them ? All the other offers I have took less than a week. Does the delay imply the offer isn’t coming ? Extremely frustrating since this is holding up a lot of decisions.

If you have competing offers, tell the recruiter deadlines. Generally it takes anywhere between few days to couple fo weeks. Your rexruiter should be keeping you updated on the status.

Have you tried emailing the recruiter for an update? I recently interviewed too and got an offer the following morning

How is this possible? Don't you have to go thru HC and team match?

What is “a few weeks”. Can you give solid dates of progression?

Getting offer is not end, it's only start of team matching. Google is trying to place people into jobs they actually like doing. Multiple reasons for this - in order for you to be self-motivated and let you become an expert in systems you are working with. While moves are allowed (manager can not block you), just by following this longer process teams are more stable.

Do they formally tell you if you’ve been rejected? I had my on-site two weeks ago and have no response to my emails on updates from my recruiter

Did you hear anything later? I am currently in the same boat as you
