Are competing offers, current/expected comp taken into account when leveling in the hiring committee? From what I’ve read it sounds like leveling isnt really negotiable after application has gone to hiring committee. A more general question is, if onsite interviews probably put me at borderline level (e.g. between L4/L5), what are things I can, if anything, I can do PRIOR to the application going to hiring committee to help push me over the edge?
HC doesn't care about other offers when determining yes/no or level decisions.
