Can 3 good interviews outweigh 1 mediocre and 1 bad interview? What are my chances of hiring committee? And even if it does get past HC, will that mean a lower level?
No. Bias towards no hire
You have to do decent on all I think.
Yeah then I'm definitely out :(
How long does it take for the recruiter to get back to you either way?
It all depends on interviewer. Interviewers are human. They make mistakes. The ones you are saying good ones can be rated as no-hire and vice versa. I hate this type of interviewing. Good luck bro
Personally I try to get all the data points but everyone has biases. We all have to deal with that
I had same impression of my 5 interviews (3 well, 1 ok, and 1 bad), and got rejected at hiring committee. But your perception of good and my perception might different and it’s always hard to gauge as an interviewee, so best of luck.
Oh dang. That sucks man, you were close if you got to HC. Did the recruiter share any feedback with you like try again etc?
I thought many people failed HC so I’m not sure how close I was. Recruiter said HC noted some positive qualities across all interviews (such as communication and comprehension) but I didn’t clear it. I pushed for more details but didn’t get anything useful. I felt my interview performance was pretty good except the one bad one, where I fumbled and didn’t have a working solution. For all others I had working code without hints, except for the “ok” one where interviewer gave some hints. Recruiter said he’d be happy to put me in the process again in one year.
Any insights if the loop was polarized? Say the hires are strong hires and the non hire is like hell no? Unfortunately I think this is how mine might play out.
How long did it take for the recruiter to get back after onsite? It's been exactly 5 business days since my interview with complete radio silence
Same here one week passed nothing so far
I did awfully on one of my interviews and still got in. I think I knocked two out of the park, and did decently in the other two. But it's impossible to really know. And the waiting is hard as hell. Good luck!
How long did it take from onsite to first call from recruiter?
It was pretty quick for me. Had onsite on a Monday. Heard from recruiter that Wednesday that feedback was promising, but they wouldn't break it down for me any further than that or make any representations about likelihood of passing bar. Heard that I passed HC the following Monday, one week after the interview. My understanding is that it all depends on how fast your interviewers get their feedback in, which can be up to a couple weeks on the tail end.
Failed usually brutal reality
That's my gut feeling as well.
Don’t worrry buddy try other companies which pay well better or equal to G and then try again later
