Hi all, I recently interviewed with Google for a specific team. I had 5 rounds. I guess three of them went really well, in fact two of my interviewers said something like i hope/wish you join Google. Other round which went well is where I actually shined, shared my design architecture decisions and some tools which are really awesome and how i leveraged that. Even interviewer was impressed with the same. Remaining two, one of them asked a question for which I told three solutions, he finally gave me the hint for the solution he wanted and I wrote code in a very structured way with TDD. In fact after code some of the tests he wanted me to write were already present in the code. I got confused for a single variable initialization while writing code(this was my 5th and no caffeine) but quickly rectified that. Finally the one which I guess bombed, it was a traversal program in two d array. Got some hint from the interviewer still could not solve it 100%(he actually said it can not be completed in 45m). Started with RED modular structure code and all, but you know it when you don't do it well, even though interviewer said no you did fairly okay as people get confused ata point and all. Given this do I stand chances for offer ? I already have another offer but would also like google compared to them. How bump is one interviewer feedback, like if you really do bad in th at
Tell the recruiter you have offer he will push things at Google. What's your current offer?
Why should he tell u?
Told recruiter. Can't name other offers but from some unicorns.
How was your preparation? What were the difficulty of the questions like?
Lc mediums. One was easy but getting to the best approach is not easy if you haven't done that question before.
Oh nice. Did you interview for SETI?
If you totally bombed interview 4 then it’s tough usually interviewes depend on the pool your competing against , it depends on your competition pool
Dunzo
If you didn't completely bomb it, you will have "mixed reviews" and proceed to HC. Outcome at HC with "mixed reviews" is basically luck- 50%
Hm.you know what hc looks at ?
I recently went through hc with mixed reviews and passed it
These interviewers should not be giving you feedback on how you did.
What wrong with that? It only helps them improve. Don't have to be so close minded.
No one actually gave me any feedback directly. It's what I believe from my conversation
Curious to know the questions you faced. Also what level you interviewed for?
So did you get in?
What were the topics of your questions ? How many questions per round
Dont think I can share questions. Sorry
Not questions but topics like dp dfs etc
