My current employer took the PERM documentations 9-10 months back. But our law-farm said they are yet to file my PERM and then I-140 thingy. I have my H1B valid until December 2019. Is it worth switching job now (if I get any offer soon?). Note: I am open for job switch(considering new employer sponsor my PERM/I140/GC)
Based on current waiting, your perm will take 6 to 10 months to complete(no premium processing here). If it goes for audit(33% probability ) then add 6 more months for perm to finish. Then i140 1 or 2 Months in premium processing. Your best case 8 months and worst case is ~18 months. You decide the rest. +don't even think of i140 application with no premium processing
Thanks for the details. Really appreciate it ๐
Not worth it, job change will easily take 2 months or more, so add that into equation
Hmm, thinking the same ๐ค
I just recently changed job with exactly 11 months left for max out hoping my i140 gets approved with PP
All the best ๐
You can negotiate this when you join. Ask them to do pp for everything starting day one.
this is one possibility.
Yes.
