If you are balding, shave your head and work out like crazy.. You will look better than with head full of hair

I agree with this. If you’re going bald you should at least once totally shave and see if it’s acceptable or maybe even better than before.

Not for everybody, not even if you workout like no tomorrow

If you hit the weights 3x week that’s sufficient

I had a hair transplant 3 years back. Best money I ever spent, you need to have realistic expectations as to what your goal is.

Where did you get yours done if you don’t mind me asking? FUE or FUT? PM me if you’d prefer, I’m very curious.

I opted for FUT since my hairloss was significant. I needed around 3500 grafts with possibility of second procedure (which i havent gone under yet). I had it when I was in India(myself being a needfully reverting back man) with Dr Radha Rani although I considered Turkey and Belgium too.

After the transplant do you have to take propecia to prevent more hair falling out around the transplanted hair?
      Feb 2
    • New / Engjbnote
Yes, i have been regular with propecia and minoxidil for last 4 years. I had an initial reaction to it so stopped. Started again after sometime and no side effects after that. I feel side effects are publicized a lot more than they happen

It’s cheaper outside USA. Many people try it in India and turkey. In Indian it can cost around 3k for 4K grafts. In USA it can be 5-6 times more

You are right. I paid 3k for 3.5k grafts in India

What's wrong in just owning the baldness? Or going fully bald?

Pocket full of dollars is much better than head full of hair

@onGround let people decide what do with their baldness. And you mind your business

    OP
How much is the average cost of the procedure?

You could also try prp (platelet rich plasma). It's cheaper, doesn't need recovery time and almost no chances of side effects/complications. But of course depends what stage of hair loss you are at.

One of my friend did it. And he looks much younger and happier. Many celebrities have done it.
