I am looking to shift from my current HW job to a SW role. After doing Coursera courses, I have solved 100+(mix of Medium and Hard) problems on Leetcode. But I have hardly anything to write about SW in my resume. Which all companies would should I target to get interview calls. Google was gracious enough to call me for on onsite though I could not clear it. YoE : 8 TC: 20L
Since you are good in LC, try for entry level SDE 1 openings at product companies. They mostly ask only LC. Read some open source code/ LC solutions for your preferred language to see how others write code. Many won't even look at your resume . If you can crack tier 1, expect 15-20 TC.
Try Amazon. Did you try building some projects on your own? You might have to take a pay cut going into a junior SWE role, but if it's good in the long term, why not ?
What should be the scale of these projects. Need to figure out where to start. Would SDE-2 kind of role be an achievable target for me?
