I just want to know how many are aware of LabVIEW software and how much engineers work with LabVIEW software makes on an average in Austin area.
My TC is 90K .
I have. back in college.
I know LabVIEW and used everyday basis but I am posting this to know more about wether their is bill pool who knows about this I general or nut . Also TC. More discussion I have seen here related to those FANG than other companies.
I used it for a HS internship and it was absolutely horrible, definitely something I'm glad to be away from
Why do you think it's horrible. What is your pain point in using that
Yes, in college.
Does your organization uses LabVIEW for HW testing.
I've used it extensively while creating tests for RF hardware, found it very useful!!
Nice to hear . Any idea what will be TC for LabVIEW software engineer.
I started my career 10 years back with select alliance partner company of NI back in India. I am a Certified LabVIEW Developer. I moved my focus from core LabVIEW development to Test Engineering long back. There are very few jobs which require core LabVIEW good development. All consider Labview as a secondary skill set but will give you advantage over other.
When you say you moved your focus to test engineer long back , most test engineer uses some software to automate the process. Are you using different SW now or you are in different role in test engineer.
I use python for all automation stuff. My point is, you must have some other language in which you should as good as in LabVIEW. Labview alone is not good enough.
Back in school. I never used it
Application Engineers use it at TI. I've never used it myself
How about you go first with the TC
