I think when a downturn does hit, tech is generally fairly well protected, at least relative to other industries.
Decimated relative to? Of course everything takes hits, but compare it to the damage done to other industries. Also worth noting that at least in 2004 and 2007, tech hadn’t infiltrated nearly every industry in the planet. Tech’s strength is that it is used in almost every other major industry.

Most of the companies are already out of race. I am still closer to 300 or less for this year. Not sure but I feel many will be under that cap. I think probably only G and FB would have comp closer to million for higher band.
