https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/hypocrisy what exactly is hypocritical? not defending admissions ... but is this not exactly the logical/statistical result of reserving specifically ‘non-white’ spots that de-emphasize such traits? less room for non-legacy/etc whites ... same problem faced by non-legacy/etc asians. or you thought/expect the billions to keep coming in but do away with legacy/donors kids somehow? hint: the reason anyone cares about harvard etc in first place is due to legacy and donors. edit: compare admission rates for white legacy vs non-white legacy, controlled for academic achievement... then get back to hypocrisy theme.
