Honest question
Being a liberal literally means you are for “the open exchange of new ideas and information” why is it that so many liberals no longer listen to other people’s ideas or have open, honest conversations? Even in liberal circles you are only allowed to have one mega block opinion and are no longer allowed to think outside the box or hold views that are uniquely your own w/o being outed. I would be much more inclined to listen to your perspective if it was uniquely your own view & you know why you believe what you believe in.
The reason you ask this question, I assume, is because you believe it’s true. You believe it, because you live in the closed Fox News ecosystem that tells you liberals are closed minded.
I believe the same thing and I watch NBC. What’s your point? You are saying that someone’s opinion is wrong because you assume they watch one tv channel? That’s a strong argument.

No. Being liberal literally means believing in an ethical and political ideology that promotes individual liberties, freedoms, and equality for all. There is nothing in this definition that says we need to politely sit and listen to very stupid arguments we fundamentally disagree with.
Most liberal opinions are backed by science. Global warming backed by science. Homosexuality in mammals backed by science. Others are more opinion based (abortion). Do you believe conservatives are open to alternative opinions? Fox news does not even talk about the other side. At least CNN tries to cover both sides and hosts trump supporters.
CNN is so biased dude, and I’m a libertarian. All of the big media outlets are complicit in numerous #fakenews stories, google “media retraction”.
The question is not about conservatives and neither did the op associate conservatives to “the open exchange of new ideas and information”. But if the only answer that the phony liberals have of their hypocrisy is that we do it because conservatives do it then they are the worse of the lot. And Neither fox nor cnn are open to alternative views. For you the only view that matters is the liberal view and that is why you think cnn is unbiased.
