How bad are multiple rejected applications considered?

Example: I keep applying at one of FAANG every month for SDE role at different locations, but keep getting rejected. I know that they can see all my rejections. I apply repeatedly thinking that some hiring manager will be in urgent need and may decide to interview me. Should I stop applying? Yoe:1.5

Have you js your resume reviewed?

Yes. I'm probably being rejected because of 1 or more of these factors: 1. Low yoe 2. Non local candidate 3. Visa sponsorship required

Hmmm. Idk man. My first year out of college i did the FAANG gambit and I graduated a top 40 ranked school with a 3.2 GPA. And I know they sponsor tons of visas. Have you tried reaching out directly to a recruiter on linked in?

I'm not sure, but now that you've started this you need to continue applying once per month indefinitely.

Every month is probably a stretch. Every quarter or every 6 months is more preferable

I know, I was just getting desperate to quit my job

You should try non faang too and rotate the companies you’re applying to. These things usually take time and opportunity if you come with less yoe since most of those slots are filled by college hires. But it will work out! Getting one job offer can relieve the stress a lot! And will help as a leverage for other companies/offers too.

Honestly does anyone get a callback from just applying to the portals? I know my G application went into the trash from my recruiter.

You mentioned visa sponsorship, so I am assuming you needs H1B visa. Even if you passed the interview, you still need to apply for your visa (deadline April for 2019) and you need to be lucky enough to actually get the visa (less than 50% chance), only then you can start working in October, so...

TALK TO A RECRUITER! Do not apply to jobs. recruiters are a good way to get in. Find out who the recruiters are that work for these company he’s on LI. You have a greater ROI on your efforts going this route.
