I have recently got to know that consultancy firms run by Indians not only fake resumes with inaccurate experience but also tend to forge DL, work-visa(H-1B), GC EAD if needed. I feel that this is unethical and illegal on so many levels. How do those who get into this even live with it? Is their moral sense lower than mine or the general population? I would not mind getting back home and start from scratch than live lies. So, say if you are in a situation as desperate as finding a loophole and if only an illegal or unethical act could save you in staying in the US, would you do it?
Good try. Keep it under the hood
"Screw the rules I have money"
Let me add few things here: The ones who get placed through those consultants then get H1B( read some) in lottery system, while other who have been paying taxes do not get H1B even in 3 attempts ..
They can't forge fake H1bs and GC EAD. What are you smoking OP?
Buddy, I haven't rolled one yet. They do. I haven't believed until I was shown one.
To make it more clear, they use this as some clients would want to hire only certain visa candidates but the actual employee is still on OPT. Consultancies share this and in the majority of the cases, clients don't actually verify and don't care as they are legally not their employees anyways.
A law is only as good as the police and courts that enforce it. You can’t panhandle on the SF/Boston/NYC metro systems but that’s never enforced so there’s lots of hobos. The US immigration system is teetering on the brink of collapse. I’m surprised it gets anything done visa-wise.
Honestly, as an Indian, I am deeply ashamed of these people and I apologize on behalf of these people from my country. Because of these people, everyone thinks every Indian comes from replacing American workers and using illegal means. I understand their motivation(trying to get a better life for themselves), but they should be cognizant of how rest of the world then thinks about all Indians in general
Fake news! You’re definitely from the sub continent.
Yes, I'm Indian in the Bay Area
