When a company that has reached close to a trillion dollar market cap on the legs of a super low margin e-commerce and logistics business, starts playing in the high margin ads business, it is time to worry. When this company also runs 47% of the internet, has equal or better and more diverse technical chops, is run by the businessman and visionary of the century, and most importantly has a super strong "return on ad spend" for the advertiser, it is time to be terrified. Especially when the entire business model of G and FB is "senator, we run ads".
hi Op. if you are talking about performance ads (there are different ads orgs at amazon), i suggest you to seek the details of the opportunity. I saw not good news of amazon ads on blind.
I got an interview with this org. Looks like they are doing some good work. Not sure how good the organization is!..
They sure seem to be kicking ass in terms of growth.
