Anyone here from there? Saw the Glassdoor reviews and looks like a lot of employees like the company. Can anybody here confirm? Also what's the interview process like for SWE? Is it behavioral and coding? How many rounds should I expect? Should I prepare leetcode medium?
I have been here for a year and a half. I enjoy it and the culture is really good. Only negative is that the compensation is not competitive with other big tech companies.
Compensation and perks are not competitive. Immigration department is very slow and takes a lot of time to respond. They start the green card process also very late after joining, if that matters to you. Performance review process is somewhat opaque and you are never sure of your level as it’s not revealed to you. Work life balance is good.
LOL it’s good for folks from cisco *not* for NEW/Fresh Grad
Same code base as Cisco 🤫
LOL devs from Cisco also 😆
I hated it thoroughly and quit as soon as I could. Glassdoor reviews are all fake, written by HR/ management.
BULL SHIT firm
Considered it but decided not to move forward. Here's my $0.02: Pros: Great WLB and engineering culture. Great dev tools. early employees, are very knowledgeable. Cons: Comp isn't very competitive for new hires. Most of the hiring is happening outside of the bay area. In the end I declined their offer because of low comp.
Good they don’t even match the average pay across bay area
They DNT even match the salary of existing employees , no increments :( . Huge pay disparity among peers within the company.
Technically very good , good wlb , compensation is a huge prob . Performance review kind of opaque.
I’ve been here for 4 years and still love it. The Glassdoor reviews are genuine. Interview process might vary between countries, but it might start with an automated coding test, then a screen (in person or remote, depending on your own location) with coding exercises given by another engineer. Next would be a more serious interview with two senior engineers- more technical problems and lots of discussion about your approach to the problems. That sounds like about two rounds to me. Leetcode? Not at all necessary, nor is a GitHub history. Wouldn’t hurt, but not something we look for either.
