Feeling frustrated doing frontend at my current company - historically I've avoided interviewing with Google because I don't associate them with a strong frontend engineering brand, but I'm at my breaking point and have found other large companies with strong FE eng brands either underwhelming or have a culture of poor WLB (e.g. Netflix)
They have lots of projects so I'm sure you'll find something nice.
They have internal frameworks, and definitely have internal UI Developer positions... I personally was a contractor tho, through like 3 levels of contracting agencies lol stupid ffking industry i swear
Geezus!!
FE at Google is hard to get promo to 6 and above unless you are doing framework.
Airbnb is known for their FE work and known to be a great place in that area. Can you tell me more about why you are frustrated? I’m curious to hear
same question.
Maybe he got pipd
Netflix has good WLB
Isn’t it all Angular?
No.
Id argue they dont even use angular enough at G. Huge knock against it imo. React is better for that reason
