My partner and I are getting tests run, and it seems that a previous bout of cancer with chemo treatments has affected my fertility. Salesforce has amazing benefits in this area, but I’m also looking at a potential move to another city and/or company. Thinking about the cost of these treatments is part of the decision. Has anyone else had this work done? How much should I expect to pay out of pocket if it’s not covered by my next employer?
Smh
Yeah. It sucks. Being told you can’t have kids and all. And I’m also not a millionaire. I have student loans and other obligations, so it would be pretty nice to know whether I should patiently wait out my time at a company that can perhaps offer a little bit of help.
I’m completely baffled by someone shaking their head at this post.
What exactly happened? Your tadpoles can't swim far enough? No strength to burrow through?
You really suck
It’s a legit question. The tadpoles are nowhere to be found.
Intel has this benefit
Good luck and stay hopeful. Have friends who were in similar boat - he had cancer as a teen and was told he wouldnt have kids due to radiation. They have a 2 year old now. I would try to stay with salesforce's to utilize their benefits and start looking into it soon, like tomorrow
Looking already. Thank you for the positive vibes. :)
A family friend of mine in the Bay Area tried for 3 yrs, no success. 20K 1st yr, 80k last yr. i have no idea what specifically their issue was though. I’d guess fertility approaches can vary widely. These folks were she mid 40s he mid 50s
Good luck all! Any suggestions on good male infertility specialists in bay area?
Infertility is not included in most plans. Only the most gold plated have it.
