I got a dream job In Atlanta while I have home in Houston (ignore amazon. My last job). I need to fly back and forth as wife cannot move. How safe is flying. I haven’t flown much at all
I think you should be asking yourself how scared you are of airplanes. No matter how safe it is, if you are on the verge of sh*tying your pants every time you travel, then probably it’s not gonna be worth it.
What kind of a question is this? How often have you heard of a plan crash within US? That is how safe it is.
737 max?
Your main risk is catching a cold or flu on the plane.
Probability of fatality per hour of travel is somewhat lower for flying commercial compared to driving.
The biggest problem is that you’ll be spending most of your weeks away from your family, in hotel rooms or a second apartment. It could be fun for a bit, but most people don’t resist doing that for over 1 year.
Do yourself a favor and watch the show "air crash investigations" on YouTube. It will rid you of all your fears
you'll be fine :) i've flown back and forth DFW to NYC for 2 years
Btw. What is the company in atlanta?
More chances you die of loneliness
You're much more likely to die in your commute within Atlanta than flying between Atlanta and Houston.
