I recently got rejected after onsite interviews at Google. Is it possible to interview again in a few months? Or does google have a strict 1 year policy for people who get rejected at the onsite stage? Background: My interview feedback never got to the hiring committee. This came as a shock to me cuz I thought I’d nailed 3 interviews and did average on 2. The recruiter told me that I was super close and that it was a very hard decision.
if you do not like them, forget to apply again ... it's more a ego-whim than a matter of skills improvement
I was rejected by Google about 6 months so I joined Microsoft. Now Google recruiter started to contact me again for interview. I guess it doesn't have 1 year freezing period.
1 yr is if HC rejects. You can reapply in 6 months if it was pre-HC. You probably had at least one person say no hire, or two lean no hires. If it was close, it’d have gone to hc
That’s odd. If you do poorly enough to not even advance to HC, you can try again in 6 months? But you fail HC and must wait a year? That seems backwards and a waste of Google’s time.
I thought it’s HC that rejects applications and not before.
Nope. Only potential hires
