How technical does most tech companies require TPM to be?

There are varying levels of technical depth that TPM are on. In your company, are they required to be technical, and how technical do you have to be?

    At Hulu you have some dumb ass f* idiots as TPMs (TC 185-250k--this is not even the sr level) who don't even have technical or system knowledge....so there you go

      Blocking...just dumb dumbs. Some of them are just glorified admin assistants...all they do sit in a meeting and take notes and set meetings to talk about a meeting to setup a meeting for the meeting
